F-SEARCH AND R-SEARCH
When looking for a particular point in your video¬
tape use the F.FWD button and REW/REVIEW but¬
ton to find the spot quickly.
• Press the F.FWD button during playback to
play the tape forward at approximately 7 times
normal speed. Press the PLAY button to
return to normal playback.
• Press the REW/REVIEW button during play¬
back to play the tape backwards at approxi¬
mately 5 times normal speed. Press the PLAY
button to return to normal playback.
NOTE; When you engage the F.FWD button or
REW/REVIEW button the picture will have some
interference or noise in the viewfinder or LCD
monitor. This is normal during search mode.
STILL_
When the Start/Stop button is pressed during
playback, a still picture can be seen. To start
again press the Start/Stop button and playback
will be resumed.
NOTES:
• If the play pause mode continues for more
than 5 minutes, the camera/recorder will auto¬
matically enter the stop mode to protect the
tape from damage.
• The still picture will have several noise bars in
the viewfinder or on the LCD monitor and on
the TV, but this does not indicate a fault.
