When a Ka-band is received with a signal strength of 4:
When City, Audio, and Mute modes are turned on:
When a SWS message 'ROAD CLOSED AHEAD' is received:
1.
The first eight characters display for about two seconds.
2.
The message scrolls to the left at the rate of approximately three
characters each second.
3.
Scrolling stops at the end of the message and the display turns off
for one second.
4.
The message displays again and repeats scrolling.
Note: Every time you turn on the LRD 6699SWS, a self-test is
performed for all LEDs and Alert tones. You will hear in-order
five distinct tones for the X-, K-, and Ka-SuperWideband radar
bands, Laser, as well as for SWS.
