PRODUCT SAFETY

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result in fire and/or serious
injury.
2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put the Motor
Body of Cordless Hand Mixer, USB Adapter, Battery, or USB
Cable in water or other liquid.
3. This appliance is not intended for use by children or by persons
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge. Close supervision is necessary
when any appliance is used near children. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
4. Turn the appliance off, before assembling or disassembling
parts and before cleaning. To unplug the charger, grasp the
plug and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.
5. Do not use an extension cord. Plug charger directly into an
electric outlet.
6. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the Battery.
7. Use only with the charger provided with the appliance. Do not
attempt to use this charger with any other product. Likewise, do
not attempt to charge this appliance with any other charger.
8. Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged.
The batteries can explode in a fire.
9. Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair clothing, as
well as spatulas and other utensils away from beaters and
accessories during operation to reduce the risk of injury to
persons or damage to the Cordless Hand Mixer.
10. Do not operate any appliance or USB Adapter with a damaged
cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped
or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest
Authorized Service Center for examination, repair or
adjustment.
11. The use of accessories/attachments not recommended or sold
by KitchenAid may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons.
12. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
