Contacting Technical Support

If the above solutions have not resolved your problem, please
contact your dealer or call the UMAX Technical Support
Monday-Friday, between 9 a.m - 5 p.m (CST), at (214)739-1915.
Before you call, please be sure to have the following
information ready:
The scanner model and serial number
The version number of the scanner driver (located on the front
of the CD)
The computer model you are using
The printer and model that you are using (if you have one
hooked up)
The application software packages that you are using
Error codes or messages seen
A description of what you were doing at the time of the
malfunction so that the problem can be recreated
Other observations that may aid the technician in identifying
the problem and solution
If at all possible, please be in front of your computer and scanner
with both turned on. Try to have as much description about your
problem as possible. Having this information will allow the
technician to troubleshoot your problem more effectively.
