(to the crankcase (right) "2")
4. Apply:
• Sealant
(on the crankcase (right) "1")

TIP
Clean the contacting surface of crankcase
(left/right) before applying the sealant.
5. Install:
• Dowel pin "1"
• Crankcase (right) "2"
(to the crankcase (left) "3")
TIP
• Fit the crankcase (right) onto the crankcase
(left). Tap lightly on the case with soft hammer.
• When installing the crankcase, the connecting
rod should be positioned at TDC (top dead
center).
6. Install:
• Holder "1"
• Holder bolt "2"

10 N·m (1.0 kgf·m, 7.4 lb·ft)
LOCTITE®
• Crankcase bolt
Crankcase bolt
14 N·m (1.4 kgf·m, 10 lb·ft)
TIP
Tighten the crankcase bolts in stage, using a
crisscross pattern.
