TO SELECT A SPECIFIC PLAYBACK SCENE
@ The SP-J720K and SP-J420 are equipped with a Scene
Selector button which allows the following three playback
scenes (modes):
'D Music playback (audio scene)
'2 Sound and video playback (AV scene}
@® Music playback for karaoke sing-along (Karaoke scene)
® Each time this button is pressed, the scene changes as fol-
lows:

@ When using the GR-J320, only the audio scene can be con-
trolled.
1 To boost bass frequencies

(SP-J720K, SP-J420 only):
Q 1. Press the BASS SYNTHE ON/OFF button to set to
ON.
2. Press the Bass Synthe level button and use the
SOUND JOG dial to adjust to the desired amount of
bass boost.

Depending on the kind of source played back, use of the

\ Bass Synthe function may result in a distortion of the play-

back sound. In this case, adjust the Bass Synthe control to a
level that distortion is eliminated.
3. When settings are completed, press the Set button.
The unit will also be set automatically if the Set button is

not pressed within 30 seconds.
