If the socket outlets on the associated equipment are not suit-
able for the plug supplied with the product, the plug must be
removed and an appropriate one fitted.

Location
Install the unit in a well-ventilated jocation where it will not be
exposed to high temperatures or humidity.
Do not install the unit in a tocation which is exposed to direct
sunlight, or near hot appliances or radiators. Excessive heat
can adversely affect the cabinet and internal components.
Installation of the unit in a damp ordusty environment may
result in a malfunction or accident. (Also avoid installation near
cookers etc., where the unit may be exposed to smoke, steam
or heat.)

Placing and using the unit for long periods on heatgenerat-
ing sources such as amplifiers will affect performance.
Avoid placing the unit on heatgenerating sources.

Instal! the unit as far as possible from TV sets. The unit
installed in close proximity to such equipment
may cause
noise or degradation of the picture. Such noise may be par-
ticularly noticeable when an indoor antenna is used. ff this
occurs, make use of an outdoor antenna, or turn off power
to the unit.
Condensation
When the unit is brought into a warm
room from previously
cold conditions or when the room
temperature
is suddenly
increased, condensation may form inside and the unit may not
be able to attain its full performance. In cases like this, allow
the unit to stand for about an hour or raise the room tempera-
ture gradually.
