DMT-8VL Owner's Manual (Edit function)
1. Copy & Paste
The Copy & Paste functions use the clipboard of the DMT-BVL, allowing you to copy
sound data and paste it to the specified area. The copied data remains on the
clipboard after you paste it, and you can paste the same data as many times as you
want to different places. The Copy & Paste functions can reference any one of the
following time bases: ABS time, MTC time, MIDI Bar/Beat/Clock.

To perform tf>e Copy operation, you first need to set the start point (CIpboard In pent)
and the end pomt (Clipboard Oil posit) of the cop«od data and tho copy source track
To perform the Paste operation, you need lo set the start pome (Auto Punch In poInC)
and the paste destination point

The data on the Clipboard will be replaced by new data each time you press The COPY

Copying
First, you nerd to specify the area to be copied (using the Clipboard In/Out points
and copy track).

Entering and storing the CUPBOARD IN point

Press the RECALL Ksy. then the CUPBOARD IN key
(or press only the CLIPBOARD
IN key),
and the unit will enter edit mode.
2.
Move the cursor to the digit you wish to change using the HOLD/> key or the
SHUTTLE dial, and change the value using the JOG dial.
