1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
• Please, read these instructions carefully before using the
appliance.
• This appliance must not be installed outdoors, even if the
space is protected; It is very dangerous to leave it exposed
to rain, storms or weather.
• Do not touch or operate the appliance with wet hands or
feet.
• When using the unit for the first time, do not connect it to
the power source until the tank has not been filled with
water. Do not use the heater when tap water is out of the
supply.
• The heater must be installed in an indoor area. During
periods when the heater is not going to be used, the water
in the tank must be removed. To do it, unplug the
thermostat and unscrew the nut at the drain port. Then
open the hot water inlet or turn the combination valve to
