2.7.1 Condensate Drain Installation Instructions
1. Connect the condensate trap inlet to the exhaust manifold drain connection using the appropriate
piping components (nipples, reducers, elbows, etc.).
2. Pipe the condensate outlet to a nearby floor drain using 3/4" NPT stainless steel or aluminum pipe.
Use stainless steel or aluminum for condensate piping. Do NOT use carbon, copper, PVC, or polypropylene.
If a floor drain is not available, a condensate pump can be used to remove the condensate to an
appropriate drain. The maximum condensate flow rate is 13 gallons per hour.
