When a vehicle has been detected in front
of your vehicle, the Adaptive Cruise Control
system may automatically apply and release
the exhaust brake as necessary to maintain
a safe distance between your vehicle and a
vehicle detected in front of you.
If the preceding vehicle decelerates suddenly
or if another vehicle suddenly cuts in
between your vehicle and the preceding
vehicle, the brake may be applied
immediately without applying the exhaust
brake.
The maximum slope angle at which the
system can control the vehicle speed
increase is different depending on the load
the vehicle is carrying.

Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
This system automatically applies the brakes when the dual (stereo) camera detects an object
in front of you with which your vehicle could possibly collide. This may help the driver avoid
or limit the severity of the collision.
