If you need to change the size of your
tires or replace the vehicle's leaf springs,
see your dealer. Failure to do so could
result in the dual (stereo) camera being
off-center and the Adaptive Cruise Control
not functioning properly.
Warning
In order to maximize the safety benefits
provided by the Adaptive Cruise Control
and to avoid damaging the camera,
adhere to the following:
Keep the windshield as clean as
possible. Excessive dirt, snow, ice or
water build-up, and scratches or
cracks, on the windshield may
interfere with the proper functioning
of the Adaptive Cruise Control.
When cleaning the inside of the
windshield, cover the camera with a
sheet of paper, a plastic bag, masking
tape, or by other means. When doing

so, be careful that the covering
material does not touch the lens of
the camera.
Use the heater and A/C to defog your
windshield whenever necessary.
Inspect your windshield wipers
regularly to ensure they completely
wipe the windshield when in
operation. If the wipers leave portions
of the windshield unwiped, the dual
(stereo) camera system may not be
able to properly detect objects in front
of the vehicle and thus may not
function properly.
Do not use the system with a snow
plow blade installed.
Do not subject the camera to strong
impacts.
Do not change the mounting position
of, remove, or disassemble the
camera. If the camera is removed or
disassembled, have it inspected/
repaired at your dealer.

Do not cover the heat vent at the
bottom of the camera.
Driving and Operating

Do not place any objects on top of the
dashboard or in front of or on the
camera. They may cause damage to
the camera, stop the camera
operation, or reflect off the windshield
and be erroneously recognized as
objects in the road.
Do not apply stickers, etc., to the area
of the windshield in front of the
camera lenses.
Do not make the camera dirty or
damage it.
Ensure that no liquids spill on the
camera. If liquids do spill on the
camera, have it inspected/repaired at
your dealer.
Do not clean or touch the camera
lenses.
Do not use any glass coating agents
on the windshield.
If the vehicle's windshield has to be
replaced, consult with the nearest dealer
to be sure steps are taken to ensure the
proper operation of the camera. The use
