Warning Messages
The Adaptive Cruise Control system will turn
on the "BRAKE!" warning message in the DIC
and a buzzer will sound when the system
determines it cannot decelerate the vehicle
sufficiently to maintain the appropriate
Following Distance at approximately 62 mph (100 km/h)
Short
Moderate
Long
following distance. When this warning
comes on, the driver should press the brake
pedal to maintain a safe following distance.
Driving and Operating
Approximately 50 m (164 ft)

The Adaptive Cruise Control system will turn
on the "Cruise Cancel" warning message in
the DIC for a few seconds when the system
automatically cancels the Adaptive Cruise
Control "Set" speed.
