Timer operations
Be sure to adjust the present time before proceeding to
the following.
@ Timer recording of radio broadcast
1 Switch the power ON.
Press the POWER key
of the amplifier.
2 Select the program setting mode.
PROG.
@ The program No. indicators (1 to 6) blink.
3 Select the program No. to be used.
Select from 1 to 6.
ENTER
@ The selected program No. indicator blinks.
4 Specify the day(s) of the week with the
numeric keys.

5 Input the ON time with the numeric keys.

6 Input the OFF time with the numeric keys.

The timer modes are switched
between PLAY and REC every
time the BAND key is pressed.
Notes:
Press within 10 seconds.
8 Select the key under which the station to be
received has been preset.
® Press the numeric key.

@ Press the ENTER key.
9 Set up the cassette deck ready for recording.
@ The station must be preset previously.
@ Insert a tape in Deck B.
@ Set the tape transport direction.
® Select the side(s) to be recorded onto.
@ Select the Dolby NR mode.
@ The auto-bias adjustment cannot be used.
1 0 Adjust the recording level.
1 1 Activate the execution of the program.

@® Press the EXE. key.
®@ Select the program No. to be executed by pressing the
numeric key under which it is set.

@ The selected program No. indicator lights up.
1 2 Switch the power OFF.
Press the POWER key
of the amplifier.
@ When the power is turned ON by the timer, the volume level
is automatically set to the lowest level.
1. If you commit a mistake in the timer programming, press the [CLEAR| key and re-start from the beginning.
2. If it is required to modify a program which has already been set, set a new program from the beginning.
3. When a program has previously been set in the program No. selected in step 3, the newly-set program replaces the previous program.
4. When the power supply
is turned on _with the timer, the sound volume is set at the lowest level.
5. Do not operate the
key or
key while the time program execution has been activated; otherwise malfunction will oc-
cur.
