    > introduction Congratulations on your purchase of the WINDSOS DRIVE parachute. The “Rogallo” type design of this parachute will allow you to have a quick opening parachute, an excellent fall rate and above all the possibility of choosing the landing point.

    > warnings and obligations The WINDSOS DRIVE is a "Rogallo" type parachute conceived as a safety system for paragliding pilots who are in an emergency and never for the practice of free fall, base jump or take off on the slope.

The revision and folding of our WINDSOS DRIVE must always be carried out at Windtech or, failing that, at a specialized center of recognized solvency, carried out by professionals.

    If your equipment is damp, open it up and let it dry. Always keep the fabric and lines of your WINDSOS DRIVE clean, as dirt or different chemical agents can damage them. If necessary, clean it only with water and a soft sponge.

    > introducción Enhorabuena por la compra del paracaídas WINDSOS DRIVE. Gracias a su diseño tipo “Rogallo” te permitirá disponer de un paracaídas de rápida apertura, excelente tasa de caída y sobre todo de la posibilidad de escoger el punto de aterrizaje.

    > advertencias y obligaciones El WINDSOS DRIVE es de un paracaídas del tipo “Rogallo” concebido como sistema de seguridad para pilotos de parapente que se encuentren ante una emergencia y nunca para la práctica de la caída libre, salto base o despegue en ladera.

    > instalación El WINDSOS DRIVE puede ser instalado en un contenedor ventral o en el contenedor habitual de nuestra silla. En ambos casos debemos cerciorarnos de la correcta conexión (elevador izquierdo con lado izquierdo de nuestra silla y derecho con el derecho, vienen marcados “L y R”).
  • Page 22 (teniendo en cuenta que el planeo del WINDSOS DRIVE es limitado), pudiendo evitar situaciones peligrosas y comprometidas El contenedor interior del WINDSOS DRIVE, está equipado con tres posibles puntos de anclaje para el asa de accionamiento. Uno superior, otro lateral y otro central.

    WINDSOS DRIVE. En este caso siempre es mejor no soltar los mosquetones sino tirar de los dos mandos de freno total- mente y recoger líneas hasta llegar al nudo de la ramificación.

    > revisiones y plegado Al menos una vez al año, nuestro WINDSOS DRIVE debe ser aireado y plegado de nuevo, para evitar que el apelmazamiento y que la posible electricidad estática, ralenti- cen la apertura de nuestro paracaídas. La duración razonable de este paracaidas es de 12 años con una inspección anual.

Estirar, desde las costuras del extradós y sus anclajes, las líneas centrales en toda su longitud, dejandolas perfectamente estiradas y paralelas hasta las cintas de conexión, igualmente el tejido que rodea los anclajes deberá quedar lo más liso posible, unos 40/50 cm a cada lado de la costura central.

Iremos colocando los diferentes paños formando un pliegue en el centro de cada paño hacia el exterior, manteniendo costura sobre costura y las líneas perfectamente estiradas en la parte central, gracias a los pesos; el pico asimétrico del primer paño lo doblaremos hacia dentro encima del segundo.
  • Page 27 5. Plegaremos ambas “semialas” hacia abajo, para posteriormente plegarlas otra vez sobre si mismas.
  • Page 28 6. Ordenaremos y fijaremos las líneas del paracaídas, mediante la ayuda de una goma y el tejido del primer paño. 7. Mediante la ayuda de unas pesas metálicas iremos plegando el paracaídas en forma de “S” y del tamaño del contenedor.

    > almacenamiento Guarda WINDSOS DRIVE en un lugar seco y alejado de agentes químicos, de la luz ultravioleta y de altas temperaturas. Si tu equipo está húmedo ábrelo y déjalo secar .
