Some preliminary steps are necessary for tire re-
pair.

- Turn the hazard flashers on and set up the
warning triangle if you have a flat tire in
moving traffic. In this way you protect your-
self and other road users.
- Make sure that all passengers are in a safe
place, out of the danger zone (for example,
behind a guard rail).
