Power Supply

The power supply pins are physically connected to the 2-pin terminal on the front of the device. The
power supply connection is depicted in Figure 9 and described in Table 8.

Required power supply voltage for the router is between +9 V and +36 V DC, see the connection
scheme on Figure 9. Protection against reversed polarity without signaling is built into the router.
For correct operation it is necessary that the power source is able to supply a peak current of 1 A.
Unit has to be supplied by a power supply specified as a Limited Power Source (LPS) or CEC/NEC
Class 2 source of supply.
CAUTION
If the router is grounded with the grounding screw, there is no protection against reverse polarity.
The negative pole of the DC power supply must have the same voltage reference as the grounding
screw. Otherwise, the voltage difference between these two points can damage the device, which
can then only be repaired by an authorized service center.
