Test run
CAUTION:
Do not use domestic
detergent as a
forming agent at
refrigerant leakage
check. The followings
are recommended:
Snove (Nupro,
USA),
Gupfl ex
(Yokogawa,
Japan)
Gas leakage
detection device is
not compatible with
one for R22. The
sensibility of the
device for R22 is
little, therefore, do not
divert it.

2.1. Check before test run

Confi rm there is no problem regarding chiller installation space and requirements. See
technical catalogue for more details.
Check the following items at the beginning of the season and before fi rst test run.

2.1.1. Cabinet

Exterior and
interior
Drain pan
Air side heat
exchanger
Fan part

2.1.2. Refrigerant System

System in
general
Compressor
Fuse plug
Stop valve
for liquid
refrigerant

Confi rm there is no damage in exterior and interior
caused during transportation or at installation.
Remove foreign matters and dust and clean it.
Confi rm individually if screw and washer are fi xed well
using screw driver or wrench.
Confi rm visually if heat insulation, tape and label plates
are fi xed well.
Confi rm visually if there is no clogging nor rust in drain. In
case of the rust, arrange it painting.
Check visually if there is no dust between fi ns. In case of
dust, wash the part with fi n cleaner.
Confi rm there is no deformation nor any trouble in fan or
fan protection net.
Confi rm if fan spins smoothly.
Confi rm if screws are not loosed. (especially check if
shaft and runner are fi xed)
Confi rm if there is no strange noise during the revolution.
Confi rm individually if screws are fi xed well using
screwdriver or wrench.
Confi rm if there is no gas leakage using foaming agent or
leak tester especially in fl anges, screws, and fl are parts.
Confi rm visually if there is no oil leakage from suction
and discharge fl ange.
Confi rm visually if fuse plug is not infl ated abnormally.
Confi rm if the stop valve for refrigerant in outlet of air side
heat exchanger is fully opened.
