I f a fault occurs, there is often a simple explanation.
T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g
Before calling the after-sales service, please refer to the
fault table and attempt to correct the fault yourself.

Fault table

If a dish does not turn out as well as you had hoped,
refer to the section entitled
. It contains useful tips and information on
studio
cooking, baking, roasting and frying.
Fault
The appliance does not start.
The oven light has failed.
The gas burner does not ignite.
The flame (oven) does not burn through all
outlet openings.
All dishes prepared in the oven burn within a
short period of time.
The door panel steams up when the oven
heats up.
Fan position not working.
The oven switches off.
The cooling fan is not working.

Possible cause
The fuse is faulty
Power failure
Disruption of gas supply
The oven light is faulty
Power cut or damp ignition plugs
Normal build-up of dirt
The thermostat is faulty.
This is a normal occurrence caused due to the
temperature difference
The grill selector is switched on.
Fan position is not selected
Fan fault
The gas pressure is too high or too low
Power failure
Incorrect installation
The cooling fan is faulty.

Incorrect repairs are dangerous. Repairs may only be
carried out by one of our trained after-sales technicians.
Remedy/information
Check the fuse in the fuse box.
Check whether the kitchen light or other kitchen
appliances are working.
Make sure that the gas supply valves are open.
Replace the oven light. (see section entitled "Replac-
ing the oven light")
Light the gas burner with a gas lighter or a match.
Do not operate the oven without power.
The burner must be professionally cleaned.
Call the after-sales service.
No intervention needed; this has no effect on perfor-
mance.
Make sure that the grill selector is switched off.
Make sure that the fan position is switched on.
Call the after-sales service.
Check whether the correct pressure regulator is
being used.
Check the oven's power supply.
Make sure that the appliance was installed accord-
ing to installation instructions.
Call the after-sales service.
