When you enter the CMOS Setup Utility, the Main Menu will be displayed (Figure 3-1). You can use arrow
keys to select your function, press <Enter> key to accept the selection and enter the sub-menu.
Sub-Menu
Note that a right pointer symbol appears to the left of certain fields. This pointer indicates that a sub-menu
can be launched from this field. A sub-menu contains additional options for a field parameter. To call up a
sub-menu, simple move the highlight to the field and press <Enter>. The sub-menu will then immediately
appear. Use the legend keys to enter values and move from field within a sub-menu just as you would within
a menu. Use the <Esc> key to return to the main menu.
3.2 Standard CMOS Features
With the sub-menu (Figure 3-2), you can setup the; system date, system time, hard and floppy drive type,
and display adapter type. Please refer to your equipment specification when changing the setup. Use arrow
keys to highlight items, and use <PageUp>, <PageDown>, <+>, or <-> keys to scroll through the available
options.

3.2.1 Date
To assign the system date, the format is "mm.dd.yy". The input range for the Month is 1-12. Range for
Date is 1-31. Range for Year is 1994-2079. System BIOS will calculate the day of the week automatically.
3.2.2 Time
To assign the system time, the format is "hh:mm:ss". The setting is in military time. When entering 2:34pm enter
"14:34:00".
