To cancel the effect
1. Press and hold CLIP ERASE.
"SELECT A - C" and "LINK OFF"
appear alternately in the display.
2 Press the CLIP button (A, B, or C) for the
clip containing the effect you want to
turn off.
"LINK (A, B, or C) OFF" appears in the
display and the eftect is erased from the
clip.

Repeating a
Specific Portion
(loop play)
You can use the loop function to repeat a
specific section of a CD and create a
"sampler" effect. You can also use the loop
function when recording a CD. Use the
buttons on the remote to do this Operation.
EXAMPLE
Original part:
"Hey, come on everybody!"
When you use the loop function:
"Hey, come come come come come on
everybody
"
Tin stop or pause mode, press LOOP
repeatedly to select NORMAL or
RHYTHM
(see "What is the difference
between NORMAL and RHYTHM?"
for
details).
There are tive respective NORMAL
and
RHYTHM
modes that provide different
toop intervals. The display changes as
follows:

The intervals become progressively
larger (from 0.25 to 1.00 second) as the
numbers increase.
2 Press CD >.
3 Hold down LOOP at the point you want
to repeat. Release to resume normal
playback.
What is the difference between
NORMAL
and RHYTHM?
NORMAL and RHYTHM
resume normal
playback from different points on the disc.
NORMAL:
Normal playback resumes from the same
point where vou started the loop.
RHYTHM:
Normal playback resumes from the point
where you release the loop. The portion of
the track equivalent to the time elapsed
during the loop is skipped.
