POINTER ONLY
POINTER TYPE
AUTO ERASE:
When ON, this function causes the contro! pane! to
disappear after you activate any of the IR control code
operation buttons by pressing and 'holding down the
remote commander button. When you release the
button, the control panel reappears.
This display mode is convenient for seeing chapter
numbers during laser disc operations.
POINTER ONLY:
By clicking on POINTER ONLY, the on-screen display
disappears except for the pointer and EXIT button. To
freeze the pointer, hold down the button on the remote
commander. To restore the DISPLAY MODE menu, click
on EXIT.
This display mode is useful when using the pointer to
point to specific display items during presentations.
Click on a COLOR button.
These buttons determine the display color.
To leave the menu
Click on EXIT.
To return to the previous menu
Click on RETURN.
Specifying the Sensitivity of the
Remote Commander

COMMANDER
SENSITIVITY
You can select three sensitivity levels that determine the
speed at which the pointer moves.
1 Click on FUNCTION in the main menu.
The FUNCTION menu appears.
2 Click on SET UP.
The SET UP menu appears.
To return to the main menu, click on EXIT.
3 Click on COMMANDER SENSITIVITY.
The selected number increases by one with each click,
raising the commander's sensitivity accordingly.

Note
If you find it difficult to change the commander sensitivily
because the setting is too high (i.e., 5), turn off the unit,
then turn on the power while holding down the VIDEO2
and VIDEO4 buttons.
The commander sensitivity will return to a lower factory-
set value.
To leave the menu
Click on EXIT.
To return to the previous menu
Click on RETURN.
