OPERATION

Before Operation
• Before using the device for the first time, clean the inside of the device with a
damp, soft sponge, cloth or rag.
• Then dry the device with a dry, soft cloth. Also wipe out the inside of the kettle.
• Make sure that the kettle is correctly placed in the brackets before operating
the device.
• Slide the popcorn container into the device before you start.
Production of Popcorn
1. Find a stable, level location for the machine that is near a mains outlet. Make
sure the power cord is not near a water source. If necessary, you can use an
extension cord.
2. Gather the supplies needed: popcorn corn, bowls or bags, cooking oil, corn
measuring scoop, and oil measuring scoop (the two measuring scoops are
included).
3. Make sure the on/off switch is in the OFF position. Plug the power plug into
the mains socket.
4. Make sure the kettle is properly secured in the brackets.
5. Make sure the kettle motor is plugged in.
6. Make sure the popcorn container is in the device.
7. Switch the device on using the on/off switch on the top of the device. The
device takes 3-5 minutes to preheat the kettle.
8. Switch off the device.
9. Using the provided oil measuring spoon, add 10 ml (2/3 tbsp) of your favourite
popcorn oil to the kettle. It is recommended to use a light vegetable oil.
10. Using the popcorn scoop, add 60-80 g (2/3 cup) of corn kernels to the kettle.
11. Turn the device back on and close the door. After a short while, you will hear
the corn popping and popcorn falling out of the kettle's hinged lid into the
popcorn container.
12. Once the kernels have stopped popping, use the red button on the crank to
tilt the kettle to pour the remaining popcorn into the popcorn container.
13. Turn off the motor when no more corn kernels are popping up.
Note: If smoke develops, this may be due to fat deposits. Make sure that the
device and especially the inside of the kettle is cleaned regularly.
