LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
1. Read all instruc�ons before ligh�ng.
2. Make sure the gas control knob is in "OFF" posi�on.
3. Compress the knob for three seconds to allow propane to flow into
the burners. Slowly turn knob counterclockwise to "HIGH" posi�on.
The igniter will click and light the burner.
4. If igni�on does not occur in 5 seconds, turn the gas control knob off,
wait 5 minutes, and repeat steps 2 - 5.
MATCH LIGHTING
1. Remove cooking surface before ligh�ng
2. Place a match in the end of Match Holder (hanging on the Right Front Leg). Strike the match and place it near
side of the burner (see Fig.6)
3. Push and turn the control knob to HIGH. The burner should ignite.
4. Replace cooking surface. Be sure to use protec�ve gloves, such as over mi�s or BBQ gloves.
NOTE: If the burner does not ignite within the first few a�empts of match ligh�ng, there is a problem with the
gas supply. Turn off the gas at the burner and tank. DO NOT a�empt to operate the griddle un�l the problem is
found and corrected. See "Trouble Shoo�ng" sec�on of this manual or call the customer service department at
1-866-994-6390 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern �me, Monday through Friday for assistance.
