Please note the included General Safety Notes and the
following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or
physical injury.
Please also note the safety instructions in the operating
instructions for cordless tools.
▪ Please read these operating instructions carefully and only
use the device in accordance with these instructions.
▪ Use protective equipment including safety goggles and hearing protection
when operating the device. If the operation of the device causes discomfort
or discomfort, stop working immediately and investigate the cause.
▪ Dispose of unnecessary packaging material or keep it in a place that is out of
the reach of children. There is a risk of suffocation!
▪ Persons with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities may not use the
device unless they are supervised and instructed by a supervisor.
▪ Use metal detectors and voltage detectors to locate hidden power, water, and
gas lines. Do not touch live components or conductors.
▪ Ensure that the work area is adequately lit.
▪ Make sure the cutter is securely fastened in the clamping chuck. Loose tool
bits can be thrown out of the machine and present a safety hazard.
▪ Place the tool on the workpiece before switching on the device.
▪ Before starting work, check that there is enough clearance under the
workpiece for the cutter.
▪ Do not put pressure on the device: this will shorten its lifespan.
▪ Cutter can get very hot during operation. There is a risk of burns.
▪ Allow tool bits to cool before touching.
▪ Never use your hands to remove chips or scrap material near the tool insert.
▪ If you are interrupted while operating the cutter/driver, complete the step
you have started and turn off the power before you look up.
▪ Whenever possible, use fixtures or a vise to securely fasten the workpiece.
▪ Regularly inspect the clamping chuck for signs of wear and damage. Have
defective parts repaired or replaced by an authorized workshop.
▪ Always wait until the application tool has come to a complete standstill before
putting the device down.
▪ Check all screws, nuts and other fasteners for tightness at regular intervals
and tighten them if necessary.
