Please note the included General Safety Notes and the following
safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:
 Make sure, the operating voltage stated on the type label corresponds to
the power mains available in your area.
 Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities or lack of know-
how and/or lack of knowledge are not allowed to use the machine, unless
they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a qualified person.
 Please use the machine according to this manual and only for the intended
application.
 Before each use please check the power cable for any damages. If there
are any damaged spots have the power cable replaced by a professional.
 Make sure, the operating voltage stated on the type label corresponds to
the power mains available in your area.
 Switch OFF the machine and unplug from power supply before cleaning,
maintaining or when not in use.
 Make sure that there are no active supply lines in the brickwork or concrete
you want to work on.
 Avoid abnormal posture. Make sure you have a firm foothold and you
always hold the balance.
 Be attentive! Pay attention what you do. Approach your work with
circumspection. Do not use the machine when your reactivity is affected by
alcohol consumption, medication, drugs, illness or tiredness. One moment
of abstraction operating the machine can cause grave injuries.
 Please wear convenient work clothes. Wear tight clothes, non-slip footwear
and a hair net if you wear long hair or tie it up.
 Wear personally protective clothes as hearing protection to protect
from hearing loss caused by noise exposure. Wear goggles to
protect from eye injuries caused by flying debris e.g. when remov-
ing brittle material. Use a dust mask to protect from bore dust.
 Use the auxiliary handle delivered with the machine. Loss of
control of the pneumatic hammer can cause injuries.
 The hammer drill has a hand arm vibration of 5.2 m/s
injuries due to the hand arm vibration, take sufficient rest breaks.
 In the event of an electrical or mechanical malfunction, immediately switch
off the machine and do not use it further. Do not disassemble the machine
and do not try to repair it yourself. Have the machine repaired by a profes-
sional or contact our customer service.
