General operation of the electrical assistance

The power-assisted bike can be used with or without assistance by pressing the ON/OFF button or altering the modes
0-1-2-3. The 0-1-2-3 assist modes selectable from the «D» screen let you choose a power assist level in addition to
the effort you provide yourself. Power assistance will only work if you are pedalling, with a mode selected other than
0. Assistance cuts off when the speed is above 25km/h. In case of intensive use and in exceptional climatic condi-
tions, assistance may be cut off to safeguard the whole system.
The power supplied is calculated by the controller «C» according to your pedalling rate and the force applied to the
pedals. According to the mode selected, the controller «C» sends more or less current to the motor «F» to provide
you with the desired level of assistance
