SYNCHRO RECORDING (MD - TAPE) _ §
(Applicable only when the optional MiniDisc Recorder
MJ-L7 is purchased)
1. Perform steps 1-5 for CD — tape synchro
recording (1 P. 35).
2. Use the display unit or remote control unit
to select the MD function.
3. Load the MiniDisc whose contents you wish
to record.

@ if a playback-only disc is loaded, playback will au-
tomatically begin from track 1. Press the stop but-
ton to stop playback.
4. Use the EJ, &] buttons to select the track
you wish to record (for 1-track synchro
recording).

@ When 4 specific track is selected in the above way,
1-track synchro recording will automatically be se-
lected. .
@ Torecord all tracks on the MiniDisc, omit the above
step ( do not designate any specific track) and with
the MD recorder in stop mode, confirm that the dis-
. play shows the total tracks.
@ if the display does not show the total tracks, press
the MD recorder's stop button (m).

5. Press the recording pause button.

The unit enters the recording pause mode.
6. Press the MD play/pause button or SET
button on the display unit.

@ The MiniDise will begin playback and the cassette
deck will simultaneously begin recording.
@ When the MiniDisc completes playback, the cas-
sette tape will also stop.
m@ To manually stop recording
Press the stop button (™) on the MD recorder or
cassette deck.

NOTES:
@ When the tape cassette comes to the end of side A
and recording switches to side B, if MD playback is
in the middle of a track, that entire track will be re-
corded anew on side B.
@ /fthe MD has been programmed for playback in a
specific track order, or for repeat playback, synchro
recording will be performed of the respective mode.
@ To perform synchro recording of a single track (1-
track synchro), use step 8 to designate the desired
track before beginning recording in step 9.
