PARALLEL SYNCHRO RECORDING
(CD—>MD & TAPE)
(Applicable only when the optional MiniDisc Recorder
MJ-L7 is purchased)
. Load the MiniDisc onto which you wish to
record.
. Perform steps 1-8 for CD-~>tape synchro
recording («= P. 35).
. Press the MD recorder's recording button.
The MD recorder enters the recording-pause mode.

If the CD receiver and MD recorder are not con-
nected with the digital optical fiber cable, the MD
recorder will be unable to enter the recording pause
mode, thus making it impossible to perform paral-
lel synchro recording.
. Press the cassette tape deck's recording-
pause button.

The cassette tape deck enters the recording-pause

5. Press the CD receiver's play/pause button

@® The CD will begin playback, and recording will be-
gin simultaneously
on the MiniDisc and cassette
tape.
@ When
the CD completes playback, recording will
also stap on the MiniDisc and cassette tape.
& To manually stop recording:
Press the stop button (™) on the CD receiver, cas-
sette deck, or MD recorder.

Vihen the tape cassette comes to the end of side A
and recording switches to side B, if CD playback is
in the middle of a track, that entire track will be
recorded anew on side B.
@
ifthe CD has been programmed for playback in a
specific track order, or for repeat playback, synchro
recording will be performed of the respective mode.

To perform synchro recording of a single track (1-
track synchro), use step 8 (« P. 35) to designate the
desired track before proceeding to the next step to
begin recording.
