First of all...
@ Unaccompanied (timer) recording can be per-
formed only fram the tuner, or a source com-
ponent connected to the AUX jacks. When se-
lecting AUX, be sure to set the connected com-
ponent to start playing at the time the timer
turns it on.
@ When selecting tuner, set the tuner to the sta-
tion you wish to record. The station selected
during the timer setting process will be the
one turned on by the timer.
@ When recording to MD:
Load a recordable MD inthe MD recorder, and
set the unit to the proper condition for record-
ing.
@ When recording to cassette tape:
) Use the play button to select the initial re-
cording direction (<4 or »},
@) Insert a tape for recording.
@) Set Dolby NR and reverse mode as desired.
4. Press the SET button.

5. Set the timer start time (hour).
Use the kJ, Led buttons to set the hour, then press
the SET button.
Example: To record a radio broadcast on cassette
tape from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.
1. Tune in the radio station you wish to record.

2. Press the CHARACTER/timer button.
