at your own pace. If you want to stop the
music at any time, press the STOPselector.
3. To play the melody at the regular
tempo
MELODY CANCEL
Press the AUTO PLAY and FREE TEMPO
selectors simultaneously and you will
hear the accompaniment only. You can
then play the melody, following the
Melody Lamps. If the tempo is too fast,
use the TEMPO control © to slow it down
so you can practice comfortably. If you
want to stop the music at any time, press
the STOP selector.
4. Playing without Melody Lamps
LAMP CANCEL
When you have learned the melody, you
no longer need the Melody Lamps 62 to
guide you. You can switch them off by
pressing the LAMP CANCEL selector.
When the PCS-30 is in the LAMP CANCEL
mode, the last lamp on the right will work
as a Tempo light.
Demonstration Songs
Three pieces of classical music are
programmed in the PCS-30's built-in
memory. You can enjoy either playing or
listening to them by using the Playcard
system selectors together with the three
white Demonstration Keys 69 at the right
end of the keyboard.
The three pieces of music are:
Key A: Mozart's Symphony No. 40
Key B: Dance of the Hours
Key C: Chopin's Nocturne
1. Choose the music you wish to hear or
play from among the three. While you
press the Demonstration Key 43
corresponding to the music, tap AUTO
PLAY, FREE TEMPO, or both selectors
(to obtain MELODY CANCEL).

4. Spielen ohne Melodielämpchen
LAMP CANCEL
Wenn Sie im Spielen der Melodie geübt sind
und die Melodielämpchen ® nicht mehr als
Hilfe benótigen, so schalten Sie sie durch
Drücken des LAMP CANCEL-Schalters aus.
In dieser Betriebsfunktion dient das letzte,
ganz rechts befindliche Lämpchen als
Tempoanzeige.
Vorführstücke
Drei klassische Musikstücke sind fest im
PCS-30 eingespeichert und kónnen mit den
Vorführtasten ® an der rechten Seite des
Keyboards abgerufen werden. Unter Verwen-
dung der Schalter des Playcard-Systems
kónnen Sie dann wahlweise die Stücke selbst
spielen oder anhóren.
Taste B: Tanz der Stunden
Taste C: Chopin Nocturne
1. Wählen Sie das Musikstück, das Sie hören
oder spielen wollen. Während Sie die
betreffende Vorführtaste gedrückt halten,
drücken Sie gleichzeitig den AUTO PLAY-,
den FREE TEMPO-Schalter oder beide
Schalter (zum Abschalten der Melodie).

4. Exécution sans Lampes de Mélodie
LAMP CANCEL
Une fois que vous avez appris la mélodie,
vous n'avez plus besoin des Lampes de
Melodie 42 pour vous guider. Vous pouvez
les"annuler"—les éteindre—en appuyant
sur le sélecteur LAMP CANCEL.
Lorsque le PCS-30 est en mode LAMP
CANCEL, la lampe tout à droite sert de
voyant de Tempo.
Morceaux de démonstration
Trois airs de musique classique sont
programmés dans la mémoire incorporée
du PCS-30. Vous pouvez, pour vous
exercer ou simplement les écouter, les
faire passer en actionnant les sélecteurs
du Systéme Playcard et les trois Touches
de Démonstration blanches 43 tout à
droite du clavier.
Les trois morceaux sont:
Touche A: Symphonie N? 40 de Mozart
Touche B: Danse des Heures
Touche C: Nocturne de Chopin
1. Choisissez parmi ces trois airs celui
que vous désirez jouer ou écouter.

mente. Si desea detener la müsica en un
momento dado, pulse el selector STOP.
4. Tocando sin las Luces de Melodía
LAMP CANCEL
Cuando haya aprendido la melodía, ya no
necesitará las Luces de Melodía
i3 para guiarle.
Puede apagarlas pulsando el selector LAMP
CANCEL. Cuando el PCS-30 está en la
modalidad LAMP CANCEL, la ültima luz de
la derecha hará las veces de luz de Tempo.
Canciones para demostración
Las tres piezas musicales son:
Tecla A: Sinfonia n? 40 de Mozart
Tecla B: La Danza de las Horas
Tecla C: Nocturno de Chopin
1. Escoja la müsica que desee escuchar
o tocar de las tres. Mientras pulsa la
Tecla de Demostración correspondiente a
la müsica, accionar los selectores AUTO
PLAY, FREE TEMPO, o ambos selectores
(para obtener MELODY
CANCEL).
