Assign static address to each device
You can create an independent network by assigning static IP address to each device and the AXIS S2108 Appliance. This network will
have no interconnectivity to another external network unless parameters match between the networks. The computer can still get
internet connectivity through the server uplink port. As soon as the devices are plugged into the powered PoE ports, they will take the
link-local address and will need a fixed IP set, matching the AXIS S2108 Appliance.
Use local address
You can create an independent network by using link-local address on each device and the AXIS S2108 Appliance. This network will
have no interconnectivity to another external network. The computer can still get internet connectivity through the server uplink
port. As soon as the devices are plugged into the powered PoE ports, they will take the link-local address and can be found by AXIS
Camera Station on the AXIS S2108 Appliance.
