3. Disconnect the flush port
connector.
FLUSH PORT GARDEN HOSE

(Commercially available)
4. Screw the flush port connector
onto the garden hose.
STORAGE
EXHAUST PORT
5. Turn on the fresh water supply and
flush the outboard motor for at
least 10 minutes.
6. After flushing, disconnect the
garden hose and reconnect the
flush port connector.
7. Tilt up the outboard motor and
move the tilt lock lever to the
LOCK position.
