Gearshift lever or control lever not
in neutral position.
Throttle grip not in START
position (tiller handle type).
Fast idle lever raised (remote
control/side-mount type).
Correction
Insert clip in emergency stop
switch.
Shift to neutral (p. 50 or p. 53 ).
Turn throttle grip to START
position (p. 51 ).
Leave fast idle lever in the START
position (p. 5 4).
