Chapter 2: Prerequisites
No hazards exist for: explosion, implosion, or release of toxic or flammable gases
arising from the materials being heated.
No Heat Transfer Media is required for the normal operation of this equipment.
Cleaning solutions that do not contain chlorine-based disinfectants (such as
Bleach or hypochlorites) may be safely used on this equipment.
If there is any doubt about the compatibility of decontamination or cleaning
agents, contact Labconco's Product Service Department.
To verify door safety interlock is functioning properly, close the washer door,
secure the door latch, and start a program. Once program has begun, open the
door by unlatching the door latch. All functionality must stop, and power is
removed from the display screen (it goes black). If this result is not achieved, do
not use the product and contact Labconco's Product Service Department
immediately.
