Problems

DANGER

Solutions
▶ Turn off the electricity on the switchboard.
▶ Make sure that the electricity supply is working correctly.
▶ Check that the appliance with filled with water. If it is not, fill the appliance tank.
▶ Check the safety thermostat on the base plate and reset it, if necessary.
▶ Turn on the electricity.
▶ Reset the 'heating appliance without water' error notice by pressing the buttons
g and h at the same time.
▶ Turn off the electricity on the switchboard.
▶ Check the safety thermostat on the base plate and reset it, if necessary.
▶ Check the heating element and the connections.
▶ Reset the error notice by pressing the buttons g and h at the same time.
▶ Turn off the electricity on the switchboard.
▶ Check that the appliance with filled with water. If it is not, fill the appliance tank.
▶ Check the safety thermostat on the base plate and reset it, if necessary.
▶ Switch on the appliance.
▶ If error 1 persists, replace the display.
▶ If error 5 persists, replace the thermostat.
▶ Check the infeed wiring is correct and that there is an electrical current.
▶ Switch off the electrical infeed, check that the ribbon cable between the display and the
control unit is correctly connected and switch it back on.
If the problem persists,
▶ First replace the cable between the control unit and the display, then the display and
finally the control unit.
▶ Replace the thermostat.
▶ A sudden and significant increase in hot water consumption can sometimes cause cold
water.
▶ Change the SMART mode to manual mode and select the desired temperature level.
Later on, you can return to SMART mode.
If the problem occurs frequently,
▶ Increase the comfort level in SMART mode or change, from time to time, to manual mode.
▶ Proceed as indicated for unexpectedly prolonged heating time (error code 4).
