3 Instructions for handling 3 Instructions for handling 3-1 Summary This unit is a piezo driver power supply designed to drive piezo devices. Output current is capable to increase up to three times of rated current. 3-2 Features This unit is a peak power amplifier type piezo driver. Peak current, 3 times more than average current, can be drawn when step operation.
3 Instructions for handling 3-3 Operation 1. Ensure the grounding connection such as specified page 2. 2. Connect the AC power cord to an outlet. 3. Turn on the POWER ON/OFF switch then the unit is ready for operate. 4. Turn the OUTPUT ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The yellow indicator will light up to indicate that the power supply is ready for operation.
4 Optional features 4 Optional features 4-1 Output voltage monitor (L2) 10 V(positive output → +10 V) is to be output from output voltage monitor terminal on rear panel. Output impedance is 1 kΩ. 4-2 Remote ON/OFF switch (LS) The output can be turned on and off with remote switch. Note: When the output overcurrent protection is effective, the unit doesn’t output without the reset.
4 Optional features 4-3 External sensor input (LVs) Closed loop operation can be possible by inputting external displacement sensor signal. Please adjust the Input signal to be 0 to 10 V in advance (at maximum displacement 10 V max.) Displacement in accordance with Vcon input voltage can be obtained by inputting 0 to 10 V from Vcon-in terminal.
