Both carbon brushes should be replaced at the same
time. Use only identical carbon brushes.
Remove holder cap covers by inserting the slotted bit
screwdriver into the recessed part in the tool and lifting it
up.

Use a screwdriver to remove the brush holder caps.
Take out the worn carbon brushes, insert the new ones
and secure the brush holder caps.

Remount the holder cap covers on the tool.
