Clean Air Act requirements. The CastTec Polaris Inset Eco has been recommended as suitable for use in smoke control areas when burning wood logs and authorised fuels. The CastTec Polaris Inset Eco is fitted with a permanent stop to prevent closure of the secondary air control beyond 50% open.
The installation of a fireplace or stove must be in accordance with local codes and regulations in each country and other national and European standards that apply. Your Polaris Inset Eco stove must be installed by a Competent Person registered with a Government Approved Competent Person’s Scheme.

The product should be stored in a warm, dry environment and remain packaged until the fireplace is ready to be installed. It is essential that you inspect your casting prior to installation as it will be deemed to be of merchantable quality thereafter and no liability will be accepted for product removal, reinstallation or redecoration.

Any painted cast iron will need to ‘cure’ onto the surface when heat is first introduced, it is recommended for solid fuel fires to burn several small fires initially.
