The Polaris Inset Eco stove must be installed by a suitably qualified engineer.
Instructions must be given to the user when installation is completed, and the installer must instruct user of the

The gas is not toxic, but the room should be thoroughly ventilated. - Page 19 Polaris Inset Eco Manual Ref No: I17. V1. Very Important: Wood is a material that contains a great deal of gas (approximately 75 %). The gases are released when the wood is lit and heated up. For this reason, it is important that the gases are ignited quickly after stoking.

Polaris Inset Eco Manual Ref No: I17. V1. MAINTENANCE • Packaging Your appliance is packaged to minimise exposure to adverse elements and should reach you in perfect condition. The product should be stored in a warm, dry environment and remain packaged until the fireplace is ready to be installed. It is essential that you inspect your casting prior to installation as it will be deemed to be of merchantable quality thereafter and no liability will be accepted for product removal, reinstallation or redecoration. - Page 24 Polaris Inset Eco Manual Ref No: I17. V1. • Cleaning – Painted cast iron This finish can be maintained simply by dusting with a dedicated dry paint brush or brush attachment on a hoover. Any painted cast iron will need to ‘cure’ onto the surface when heat is first introduced, it is recommended for solid fuel fires to burn several small fires initially.
