Installing the Operator
Presence Switch
Parts needed for this procedure:

Switch bracket
1
Proximity switch
1
Switch plate
1
Carriage bolt (#10 x 5/8 inch)
1
Locknut (#10 inch)
1
Activator bracket
1
Torsion spring
2
Carriage bolt (1/4 x 3/4 inch)
2
Locknut (1/4 inch)
Procedure
1.
Park the machine on a level surface, engage the
parking brake, shut off the engine, remove the
key, and allow the machine to cool.
2.
Remove the 4 bolts securing oil cooler shroud
and remove the shroud

3.
Assemble the switch plate and the proximity
switch to the switch bracket using a carriage bolt
(#10 x 5/8 inch) and locknut (#10) as shown in
Figure
19.
Note:
Route the wire connector (not shown) of
the proximity switch up through the hole in the
switch bracket.
