small doses.
• Request information about gas
emergency telephone numbers and
safety measures in case of gas smell
from you local gas provider.
• The appliance and its individual shut-off
valve must be discon-nected from the
gas supply pip-ing system during any
pressure testing of that system at test
pressures in excess of 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).
• The appliance must be isolated from the
gas supply piping sys-tem by closing its
individual ma-nual shutoff valve during
any pressure testing of the gas supply
piping system at test pressures equal to
or less than 1/2 psi (3.5 kPa).
• Hob burners will not automatically
re-ignite in the event of power failure
and unignited gas will still be expelled
from the burners. Switch off burners
immediately whenever a power failure
occurs.
Use an extinguisher only if;
• You know you have a CLASS ABC
extinguisher and you already know how
to operate it.
• The fire is small and contained in the
area where it started.
• The fire department is being called.
• The fire does not obstruct your escape
route
