Contacts

The following sections contain information about using, creating and managing contacts.
You can use the
Contacts app to enter and organise all information on your contacts, such
as different number, address, mail address and much more. Other apps, such as the
app, access the information and make it available where it is needed.
Contacts can be stored at different places: locally on your smartphone, on the SIM card
or in a Google account.
Using contacts
Viewing contacts
Contacts . . . Favourites are displayed first. Then all contacts are displayed in alphabetical
order
Specify how the contacts are sorted:

Specify how the names of contacts are displayed:

Adjusting the view
All contacts from all locations are displayed by default. You can limit what is shown, for example
by hiding certain locations or labels (groups).
Only display certain contacts:
Tap
Customize view
Mark the required contacts
Display contacts from a certain location:
Tap
Select the corresponding location (default account)
Using a contact for communication
Calling a contact, sending an email or SMS to a contact.

Scroll through the list and select the required contact

Start a video call:
Sending an email:
There can be more buttons - this depends on the information stored for a contact.
Select Sort by
First name or Last name
Select Name format
Customize . . . All sources for contacts are displayed.
Save . . . Only the selected contacts are displayed
Tap the number or
Tap
. . . Enter the text message
Tap
. . . The Duo app is opened for the video call
Tap the mail address or
First name first or Last name first
. . . The call is initiated
Tap
Write the email
