If your 3274' s 8 4 2 1 indicators are displaying a flashing
0100 code, it may be caused by a defective display
attached to port O. To verify this, attach another 3178,
3278, 3279, or equivalent display to port 0, and re-IML the
3274. If a flashing 0100 code is still displayed, record the
status of the 8 4 2 1 indicators on the appropriate
problem report form (see "Related Publications" on page
iv of this guide for publication order numbers), and
request appropriate display unit service. If a flashing 0100
code is not displayed, request appropriate service for the
3274.
If you wish to continue operation under the same
conditions that existed before the IML pushbutton was
pressed, press the IML pushbutton while holding the Alt
IML Address switch in the 1 position. (This bypasses the
IML tests and allows the unit code to load.) Go to step
016 of this procedure.
If your 3274' s 8 4 2 1 indicators are displaying a flashing 0100
code, verify that all 3274 device panel switches are set to the
down position or that the shorting cap is not connected,
whichever is appropriate. See Figure 2-1
B
on page 2-51.
After you verify this, re-IML the 3274. If the 8 4 2 1 indicators
are still displaying a flashing 0100 code, it may be caused by a
defective 3299. To verify this, replace the suspected 3299 with a
