Dear Elna Customer:
Continuing Elna's tradition for updating and revising our exceptional product line, we are
pleased to announce the following new features and stitches available on your new 8007
sewing machine.
Please use the 8006 instruction manual to understand your machine's functions.
The operation of your machine has not changed, but includes these additional features.

The LCD panel now has a backlight for clearer visibility.
A needle thread sensor has been added. This screen will appear if the needle
thread breaks while embroidering:
Refer to page 48 of your instruction manual for rethreading instructions.
It is no longer necessary to press the Start/STOP key after the thread breaks.
The sensor will stop the machine automatically.
An electronic speed reducer lever.

To increase sewing speed, slide the lever to the right. To decrease sewing
speed, slide the lever to the left.
The Start/Stop key may now be used for all sewing modes. You must
disconnect the foot control to use the Start/Stop key. The machine begins
running slowly and will then run at the speed set with the electronic speed
reducer lever.
This replaces the information regarding the Start/Stop key found on page 9
of your instruction manual.
