SPARK PLUG MAINTENANCE
Refer to Recommended Maintenance Schedule for maintaining the spark plug.
The spark plug must be properly gapped and free of deposits in order to ensure proper engine operation. If
the engine is hot, allow it to cool before servicing the spark plug.
To inspect or replace the spark plug:
1. Unscrew the maintenance cover bolt, and remove the cover from the side panel. Remove the spark plug hole
cover.
2. Remove the spark plug cap
3. Use the included spark plug wrench to unscrew and then carefully remove the spark plug from the engine.
TIP: There is limited space for the wrench to turn. Use both of holes in the spark plug wrench to dissemble
the spark plug.
