Dual Digital VFO's
A=B key
Pressing this key resets the data of the inactive
VFO
(frequency,
mode
and
filter
settings
currently
displayed}
to the
data
of the
active
VFO.
Note
When
a memory
channel
is being
used
for
reception, the A=B
key will not function.
For example:

Direct Keyboard Frequency Entry

You cannot enter any frequency which is outside |
the coverage of the transceiver.
1. Press
the
ENT
key. The
following
display
will
appear.
2. Enter the desired
operating
frequency
down
to
the
arbitrary
digit. You
do
not
have
to enter
trailing zeros, but you must enter leading zeros.

To enter 14.200 MHz, there are two methods:
Method one: Press [ENT], [1], [4], [2], [ENT]
Method two: [ENT], [1], [4], [2], [0], [0], (0], [0]

4. lf you
make
a
mistake
while
entering
the
frequency and have not yet pressed the ENT key,
or entered
the final digit, you
may
cancel
the
input by pressing the CLR key.

1. Turn the MONI switch to OFF.
