AM loop antenna

AM LOOP ANTENNA
® Unfold all four legs of the AM loop antenna toward
the outside. and insert the stopper inside the legs into
the hole in the AM loop antenna to fix it in position.
® Set the antenna on a level surface. and point in the
direction that gives opumum reception,
® Do not install the antenna in locations where it
touches the cover of the receiver or other metal ob-
jects, or near a CD player. personal computer, or tele-
vision set .

Although grounding is not necessary for reception it is
recommended for protection against damage from lightning
if an outdoor FM antenna is used. Grounding is recom-
mended as well, to help reduce noise and hum.
