FREE-HAND EMBROIDERY
REMOVE THE PRESSER FOOT AND HOLDER.
ATTACH THE DARNING PLATE.
Place the design to be embroidered between the
two sections of the embroidery hoop. Put the
embroidery hoop in place under the needle and
lower the presser bar. Start running the machine at
a medium speed, guiding the hoop carefully so that
the needie follows the pattern.

ENLEVER LE PIED ET LE SUPPORT PIED
PRESSE-ETOFFE.
PLACER LA PLAQUETTE DE REPRISAGE.
Tendre le tissu dans un cerceau a broder. Glisser le
cerceau sous l'aiguille et baisser la barre presse-
étoffe. Faire fonctionner la machine a vitesse
moyenne et guider soigneusement le cerceau de
maniére a ce que l'aiguille suive bien le dessin.
DARNING
REMOVE THE PRESSER FOOT AND HOLDER.
ATTACH THE DARNING PLATE.
1. Reinforce open areas by putting a piece of paper
or gauze underneath before darning.
2. Run the machine, moving the fabric forwards
and backwards with an even motion, sewing in
closely spaced rows over the hole or worn area.
3. If necessary, turn the fabric and sew another
layer of stitches across the first layer of stitches
in a similar manner, to reinforce the darn.
REPRISAGE
ENLEVER LE PIED ET LE SUPPORT PIED
PRESSE-ETOFFE.
PLACER LA PLAQUETTE DE REPRISAGE.
1. Renforcer les parties trouées en placant un bout
de papier ou de gaze sous l'ouvrage avant de
repriser.
2. Faire fonctionner la machine en guidant le tissu
a la main, en avant et en arriére, en recouvrant
les parties usées ou trouées par des rangs de
points légérement espacés.
3. Si nécessaire, compléter le reprisage en
tournant le tissu et en piquant une autre série de
rangs a travers les premiers.
