12.3 Information about
dishwashing detergents
During daily use, follow the
instructions regarding dishwasher
detergents.
¡Detergents marked with the
"Bio" or "Eco" products usually
contain (for environmental reasons)
lower amounts of active ingredients
or certain ingredients even not at
all. This may limit the cleaning
effect.
¡Set the rinse system and the
water softening depends on the
non-combined or combined
detergent used.
¡Combined dishwashing detergents
with salt substitutes can only be
used up to a certain degree of
hardness, usually 21 °dH, without
the addition of softening salt,
according to the manufacturer's
instructions. For optimal washing
and drying results, we recommend
using softening salt from a water
hardness of 14 °dH.
¡Do not touch dishwashing detergents with an in
water soluble protective
packaging only with dry

hands and only place it in a dry
detergent container to prevent the
packaging from sticking.
¡Even when the indication is shining
refill rinse aid and the refill salt
indicator lights up, the dishwasher
programs run smoothly when using
combined detergents.
¡The function of rinse aid is
limited for combined detergents. By
using rinse aid you usually achieve
better results.
¡Use tabs with special drying
performance.
