Using the phone book
The phone book can store 100 names and telephone numbers. If you subscribe to the
Caller ID service the name of any caller stored in the phone book will also be displayed.
Letters
Each number key is allocated certain letters, these do not follow the standard for all
languages with some country-specific characters unavailable.
The Phonebook is also arranged according to the order of the buttons.
Alternative ringer melodies can be selected for certain numbers stored in the phone
book (ie: VIP), and requires a current subscription for caller ID with your network
provider. To select a VIP melody refer to Ringer tones.

Accessing the phone book

1. Press
. Press Option.
2. Scroll to one of the following options using
Display number, Add entry, Edit entry, Delete entry, Delete list, Copy from SIM,
Copy to SIM and Memory status.
3. Follow any on screen prompts.
Pause
To insert a pause in a telephone number press and hold the
change a number store the new number in the same location as the old one.
SIM card
Not all SIM cards are guaranteed to function as certain SIM cards are PIN code protected.
Carefully insert your SIM card into the card holder on the base unit, downloading may take a few
minutes. Once completed carefully remove your SIM card.
From SIM card
Check that the phone book has been properly stored on your SIM card. Refer to the mobile phone user
manual. Check that the country code is correct (see page 19). A maximum of 14 letters and 20 digits
can be copied per entry. The phone book has a maximum size which cannot be exceeded. Entries are
copied according to position, which may not be in alphabetical order.
To SIM card
You can also add an area code when copying entries to your SIM card.
Dialling from the phone book
